Our custom low-temperature LiFePO4 batteries feature internal thermal management systems. When a charging source (such as solar panels, alternator, or shore power) is connected, the integrated Battery Management System (BMS) first detects the ambient temperature. If the temperature is below 0°C, the BMS directs the incoming current to internal heating films wrapped around the cells. Once the battery core is warmed to a safe temperature (typically +5°C to +10°C), the BMS automatically switches the current flow from the heating element to the cells, allowing normal charging to begin. This ensures the battery remains undamaged and operates at peak efficiency even in the depths of a Siberian winter.
